Macramé: the ancient art of creative knotting
Here is your chance to learn a variety of knots and how they can be multiplied to make a design. You can expect to complete a sampler handsome enough garner compliments when you display it on your wall as well as experience enough to continue knotting on your own. Individual attention will be emphasized.
 
All materials will be provided for a complete project although students are welcome to bring adornments such as beads with large holes, that they may choose to add.
 
Instructor: Margaret Nowling whose mother was kind enough to accept several macramé wall hangings and heavy knotted and fringed purses her daughter thrust on her in the 1970s.
